Responsibilities

• Design and assemble beautiful floral arrangements tailored to customer specifications and seasonal themes
• Assist customers with selecting flowers, plants, and related products, providing expert advice on floral care and design ideas
• Maintain the freshness and appearance of flowers by properly handling, storing, and rotating stock
• Support merchandising efforts by organizing displays and ensuring the floral section is attractive and inviting
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
• Stock shelves efficiently, manage inventory levels, and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering gardening tips, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Experience

• Previous experience in floral design or related horticultural fields such as gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with retail sales processes, including cashiering, merchandising, and stock management
• Knowledge of floral design techniques, plant care, and horticulture principles is advantageous
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers effectively
• Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with e-commerce platforms or online retail is beneficial but not mandatory
