Job Summary
The Flower Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing floral arrangements for retail sales, events, and special occasions. This role combines creativity, technical floral design skills, and customer service to produce high-quality arrangements that meet client expectations while maintaining freshness, style, and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and create floral arrangements such as bouquets, centerpieces, and installations
- Consult with customers to understand preferences, occasions, and budgets
- Select, prepare, and care for fresh flowers and plants
- Ensure floral designs align with seasonal availability and design trends
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace
- Price, package, and label floral products for sale
- Assist with event setup, delivery, and installation when required
- Monitor flower inventory and minimize waste
- Follow proper handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
