Responsibilities

• Design and assemble fresh floral arrangements, bouquets, and decorative displays according to customer preferences and seasonal themes
• Assist customers with selecting flowers, plants, and related accessories while offering expert advice on floral care and design ideas
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the floral department, including stock rotation and inventory management
• Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions, handle cashing out, and process payments accurately
• Stock shelves with fresh flowers, plants, and merchandise; ensure proper labeling and merchandising to attract customers
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering gardening tips, and ensuring a positive shopping experience

Qualifications

• Proven experience in floral design
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication skills; multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customers
• Knowledge of retail math, cash handling, and cashiering procedures to ensure accurate transactions
• Familiarity with POS systems, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices
• Passion for gardening, horticulture, and floral design with an eye for detail and aesthetics
• Ability to work flexible hours; physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift floral supplies as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
