Floral Designer in Thriving Florist Shop

We are seeking an experienced floral designer to join our fast paced and creative team. The ideal candidate has a strong sense of design, understands current floral trends, and can produce high quality work under time constraints. This role requires hands on experience and the ability to bring client visions to life through custom arrangements.

Responsibilities
Design floral arrangements for daily orders, events, weddings, sympathy pieces and specialty requests
Create wrapped bouquets and signature designs while following company standards
Process, condition and maintain flowers for freshness and longevity
Collaborate with team members and communicate design details clearly
Assist with setup and breakdown for events when required
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Handle inventory needs and communicate supply shortages

Requirements
Minimum two years of professional floral design experience
Strong understanding of floral mechanics, wiring, structure, and design techniques
Knowledge of color theory, proportion and style adaptability
Ability to work quickly, accurately and efficiently under deadlines
Able to lift and move buckets or arrangements as needed
Organized, reliable and self motivated
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Availability for weekends, holidays and extended hours during peak floral seasons

Preferred Experience
Hands on work with wedding and event floral design
Comfort with interpreting inspiration photos and custom briefs
Familiarity with POS or order management systems
