Floral Merchandiser – Costco Warehouses (Seasonal)

About the Role

Plainview Growers is hiring a Floral Merchandiser to service two Costco Wholesale locations in Wayne and Wharton, New Jersey. You'll keep our plant and floral displays — including orchids, succulents, green plants, and primarily spring annuals — looking fresh, full, and sales-ready on every visit.

This is a great opportunity for someone who loves plants, enjoys working independently, and takes pride in a well-presented display.

What You'll Do

• Stock, rotate, and maintain floral and plant displays at two Costco locations in Wayne and Wharton, New Jersey.
• Ensure displays meet Plainview Growers' visual and quality standards while cycling older products to the front of displays.
• Remove damaged products to send back to the greenhouse.
• Work with Plainview’s sales team for replenishment needs.
• Build positive relationships with Costco store staff and management
• Submit weekly visit reports with photos and inventory updates

Schedule

• Seasonal work would be for the months of April and May.
• Visit each location in the morning to make sure product is watered, new deliveries are set for the day, and all products are displayed properly. Then visit each location in the late afternoon/evening to condense, organize and sort product.
• Work required Monday through Saturday
• Local travel between two locations required

What We're Looking For

• Experience in floral, plant, garden, or retail merchandising
• Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple sites
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable temperatures
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Big-box retail experience (Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, Walmart) is a plus
• Knowledge of plants or floral products is a plus

Compensation & Perks

• $20.00 – $22.00/hour based on experience
• Gas reimbursement
• Seasonal performance bonuses
