Job Title: Flying Training Assurance Manager

Job Purpose:

BAE Systems, as the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor, provides equipment, support, and training to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF). Our responsibilities include aircraft maintenance and training RSAF and Royal Saudi Naval Force personnel in aircraft operation, equipment, and weapons.

We are committed to supporting the Saudi Arabian National Agenda, including Saudisation and the development of Saudi National capabilities through partnerships and industrial growth.

The primary objective of this role is to support the Hawk and Aircrew Training (H&AT) Head of Academy and Flying Training (HoA & FT) to ensure that design, planning, scheduling, and delivery activities align with the Corporate Framework and Life Cycle Management requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance across program functions to support training delivery.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for evaluating tenders and contracts related to flying and training.
  • Manage customer and contractor activities to meet project deliverables.
  • Support the HoA & FT and TSDs at KFAA and KFAB to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality training program delivery.
  • Assist in internal and external audits to ensure training standards and content meet requirements and are fit for purpose.
  • Represent the company's interests in dealings with RSAF, MoDSAP, and contractors.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Former military aircrew with experience as a Flying Supervisor, preferably with BAE Systems in KSA.
  • Extensive experience in training operations.
  • Knowledge of training system design.
  • Previous senior position within a military air force.
  • Familiarity with JSP822 (Defence Systems Approach to Training).
  • Experience as a Quality Management Auditor.
