FM – MEP Supervisor

About the Role:

The FM – MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems within assigned facilities. The role ensures smooth operation of building systems, supervises site technicians, coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, and maintains compliance with safety and client service standards. The candidate will act as the key point of contact for site-level maintenance operations and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage site technicians to ensure efficient execution of daily MEP maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems and ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed.
  • Coordinate corrective maintenance works and respond promptly to emergency breakdowns.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Monitor technician performance and ensure quality service delivery at site.
  • Prepare and submit monthly maintenance reports as per client requirements.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and service logs.
  • Communicate regularly with clients regarding maintenance updates, issues, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors when required for specialized maintenance work.
  • Identify opportunities for improving system efficiency and reducing downtime.
  • Ensure availability of required tools, materials, and spare parts for maintenance operations.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Facilities Management company.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
  • Proven experience in supervising technicians and managing site operations.
  • Ability to prepare professional technical reports and monthly operational reports.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and maintenance best practices.

Work Condition:

  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs and emergency maintenance requirements
