FMCG-Purchase Assistant

Job Title: Purchase Assistant – FMCGDepartment: Procurement / Supply ChainLocation: DubaiNumber of vacancies - 3Job PurposeThe Purchase Assistant – FMCG will support the procurement team in sourcing, purchasing, and managing inventory of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). The role ensures timely availability of products, cost efficiency, and smooth coordination with suppliers and internal departments.Key Responsibilities Assist in the sourcing and purchasing of FMCG products as per company requirements. Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and supplier records. Communicate and coordinate with suppliers for quotations, delivery schedules, and order follow-ups. Support vendor evaluation and maintain strong supplier relationships.. Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory planning and replenishment. Compare prices, specifications, and delivery terms to select the most suitable suppliers. Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, budgets, and quality standards. Liaise with the warehouse, finance, and sales teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods. Prepare and maintain reports related to purchasing, inventory, and supplier performance. Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, or payments.Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within FMCG. Strong knowledge of FMCG products, supply chain processes, and market trends. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.). Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
