Food and Beverage Attendant NA-01.

Duties

  • Prepares, portions, and serves food and beverage items while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Processes customer sales by operating a cash register, handling payments, and maintaining accurate cash records.
  • Provides prompt and courteous service to all patrons.

Requirements

Conditions of employment

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements at the time of appointment if serving alcoholic beverages.
  • A physical examination, arranged by the employer, is required prior to employment.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with Army Regulation 215-3.
  • This position requires a favorably adjudicated T1/NACI background investigation.
  • Must be willing to accept intermittent, on-call employment.
  • Management reserves the right to reassign employees to other facilities.
  • Work schedule will be irregular, and the incumbent will be required to work nights, weekends, holidays, and/or unique events.
  • Ability to constantly stand, stoop, bend, walk and reach.

A Qualified Candidate Must Possess The Following

  • possess math skills (e.g. add, divide, subtract and multiply) necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory, AND
  • ability to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds.

  • You must live within 100 miles of Fort Drum, NY., AND
  • If you are a Non-U.S. National, you must have lived in the U.S. or a U.S. Territory for at least three years in a row right before starting this job. Note: Overseas military installations are not considered U.S. territories.

Allowances and Differentials

  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours a day or more than 40 hours a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. This is NOT a regularly scheduled Flexible position as it has no guaranteed hours. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours fall after 3:00 PM.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will NOT be paid.
