Food And Beverage Supervisor

F&B Supervisor manages daily operations of food and beverage services in restaurants, bars, and dining facilities. The role ensures service excellence, compliance with hygiene and safety standards, and supports team development within the hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise F&B outlet operations: Maintain high service standards for all guests and oversee table service, floor checks, and room service delivery.
  • Team management: Lead, train, and motivate team members to achieve service quality. Delegate tasks and foster effective communication among staff.
  • Guest services: Deliver exceptional guest experiences, resolve complaints, and handle special dietary requirements or challenging situations professionally.
  • Inventory and cost control: Manage stock levels, procurement, and inventory to minimize waste and optimize costs. Prepare and manage budgets.
  • Health & safety compliance: Ensure all food hygiene and safety regulations are followed at all times; maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Coordinate with kitchen & other departments: Ensure smooth service through cooperation with kitchen, bar, and other departments; relay guest feedback and service requirements.
  • Adherence to brand standards: Enforce compliance with brand policies and guest service protocols.
  • Support management tasks: Organize restaurant for breakfast/dinner services, assist with event planning, upselling initiatives, and prepare operational reports.
  • Event and promotion management: Assist in organizing special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings to enhance guest experience.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or degree in Hotel Management or related field preferred; high school diploma as minimum requirement.
  • 2–5 years of F&B experience, with minimum 2 years in a supervisory role (especially for luxury establishments).
  • Proven leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of health, hygiene, and safety compliance.
