We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food & Beverage Accountant to manage and oversee all financial aspects of our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in controlling costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting operational efficiency within the food and beverage department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control all financial transactions related to food and beverage operations, including sales, purchases, and expenses
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including revenue analysis and cost of goods sold (COGS)
- Perform cost control analysis for food and beverage items to ensure profitability targets are met
- Reconcile inventory records with physical stock and investigate any discrepancies
- Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation and approvals
- Track wastage, spoilage, and variances, and provide recommendations for cost reduction
- Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and operations teams to improve financial efficiency
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for F&B operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports
Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting, preferably within food & beverage, hospitality, or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of cost control and inventory management
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ERP systems or F&B management software
- Knowledge of hospitality financial reporting standards
Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
