Food & Beverage Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Food & Beverage Accountant to manage and oversee all financial aspects of our F&B operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in controlling costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting operational efficiency within the food and beverage department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control all financial transactions related to food and beverage operations, including sales, purchases, and expenses
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, including revenue analysis and cost of goods sold (COGS)
• Perform cost control analysis for food and beverage items to ensure profitability targets are met
• Reconcile inventory records with physical stock and investigate any discrepancies
• Review supplier invoices, purchase orders, and ensure proper documentation and approvals
• Track wastage, spoilage, and variances, and provide recommendations for cost reduction
• Coordinate with kitchen, procurement, and operations teams to improve financial efficiency
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for F&B operations
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounting, preferably within food & beverage, hospitality, or restaurant industry
• Strong knowledge of cost control and inventory management
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ERP systems or F&B management software
• Knowledge of hospitality financial reporting standards

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR5,500.00 per month
