Position Summary: In this role, you will provide administrative and marketing support to the Villa Resort Food & Beverage team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between departments. You’ll assist with community relations, marketing initiatives, social media content creation, and recruiting support. This position offers a dynamic mix of administrative, creative, and event-related tasks while helping to uphold the Kiawah Island Golf Resort (KIGR) brand standards.
Pay Rate: Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resort’s actual rate of pay will be determined during the hiring process.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma, or equivalent GED required; college degree strongly preferred.
- One to two years of social media content experience, plus one year of general office experience is required.
- Team-oriented mentality, with ability to work independently.
- Must be responsible and detail oriented
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Restaurant experience preferred.
Expectations & Responsibilities:- Assist in facilitating the Villa Resort Food & Beverage team with administrative duties
- Responsible for coordinating and relaying accurate and up-to-date information is presented to both internal and external departments
- Attend KIGR’s Sales & Marketing meeting once a month to stay up to date on projects and marketing efforts as it pertains to F&B
- Assist in researching competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing, and advertising
- Maintain contact and relations within the local community
- Register and assist in off-site event participation
- Act as the liaison between Villa Resort F&B and the Marketing department to uphold the brand standards of KIGR
- Maintain and update the Villa Resort F&B team’s community relations/public relations/marketing calendars
- Create, capture, and schedule content for social media posts for all Villa Resort F&B outlets
- Assist with photo shoots, as needed
- Help with candidate management in regards to recruiting efforts, applicant outreach, and scheduling of interviews
- Work closely with the Villa Resort’s culinary and front of house teams on their promotional needs
- All other duties as assigned
Essential Physical Requirements:- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment.
- Occasionally required to lift, carry, or move items up to 25 lbs (e.g., event materials, marketing displays).
- Ability to bend, reach, and assist with on-site and off-site event setups as needed.
- Must be able to work in both indoor office settings and outdoor environments for events or photo shoots.
