La Bahia Hotel & Spa is seeking a strong operational Food & Beverage Manager that has a passion for delivering outstanding service. This role requires a hospitality professional who can maintain the highest standards of service excellence while managing diverse dining venues including two signature restaurants, an artisanal coffee bar, an elegant champagne lobby bar, and comprehensive pool and beach service operations. By delivering impeccable service, the Food & Beverage Manager will uphold La Bahia Hotel & Spa’s service standards (inspired by Forbes) while elevating our beachfront property.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring consistent delivery of luxury-level service and quality
  • Manage and coordinate activities between two restaurants, coffee bar, champagne lobby bar, pool service, and beach operations
  • Develop and implement operational procedures and service standards that align with luxury hospitality expectations
  • Monitor food safety protocols, health department compliance, and maintain all necessary permits and certifications
  • Conduct regular outlet inspections and quality assurance reviews
  • Develop and manage annual budgets for all F&B outlets, including revenue forecasting and cost control measures
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance across all venues
  • Implement strategies to optimize revenue, control costs, and improve profit margins
  • Monitor inventory levels, food costs, and beverage programs to ensure optimal efficiency
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a diverse team of restaurant managers, servers, bartenders, baristas, and support staff
  • Create and implement training programs focused on luxury service standards and product knowledge
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and manage disciplinary actions as needed
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and employee retention
  • Ensure proper staffing levels across all outlets to maintain service excellence
  • Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction scores across all food and beverage touchpoints
  • Handle escalated guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and resolution-focused approach
  • Collaborate with front office and concierge teams to enhance overall guest experience
  • Develop special dining experiences, wine dinners, and seasonal menu offerings
  • Ensure seamless service delivery for special events, private dining, and group functions
  • Negotiate contracts and maintain relationships with food and beverage suppliers
  • Source premium ingredients and specialty products that align with luxury positioning
  • Evaluate new vendors and products to enhance menu offerings and operational efficiency
  • Manage delivery schedules and storage requirements across multiple outlets
  • Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Perform hourly job function if necessary.
  • Extends professionalism and courtesy to team members at all times.
  • Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll progress report.
  • Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and leadership within the scope of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • (23/4) years or more minimum experience in F&B supervisory role in a luxury hotel and/or resort overseeing multiple departments.
  • Luxury resort experience preferred.
  • Hotel opening experience a plus.
  • Dynamic and entrepreneurial - able to lead a team to success by leading by example.
  • Knowledge of local and state laws and regulations as relates to the rooms department.
  • Knowledge of luxury service standards (Forbes 5 Star, AAA 5 Diamond).
  • Strong leadership skills; a natural motivator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
