FOOD BUYER

Hiring for the reputed Hyper Market in Oman for the role of Food Buyer for Hypermarket.

Source, evaluate and select food products from local and international suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate prices, terms and contracts to ensure best value and quality.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer preferences.
• Ensure availability of quality products at the right time and competitive prices.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and build new business opportunities.
• Work closely with merchandising and operations teams to meet customer demand and sales targets.

Qualification

• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as a Food Buyer in a reputed hypermarket in Oman.
• Strong Knowledge of Local & International Food Markets and supplier networks.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyze sales data and make data – driven buying decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Inidan Nationality with valid Resident ID in Oman.
