Job Summary

The Food Delivery Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and managing food delivery operations from order receipt to final delivery. This role ensures efficient dispatching of drivers, timely deliveries, and smooth communication between the kitchen and drivers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Order Management

• Receive and review incoming orders
• Confirm order details with the kitchen
• Prioritize orders based on preparation and delivery time

2. Dispatch & Driver Coordination

• Assign delivery drivers based on availability and location
• Monitor deliveries in real time
• Reassign deliveries in case of delays or issues
• Ensure timely pickups and drop-offs

3. Driver Support

• Communicate instructions and updates to drivers
• Track driver performance and attendance
• Assist drivers with route or customer issues

4. Customer Support

• Respond to delivery status inquiries
• Handle complaints and resolve delivery problems
• Communicate delays or changes proactively

5. Administrative Tasks

• Maintain delivery logs and records
• Prepare daily reports
• Support operational improvements
