Duties

• Safely operate various delivery vehicles, including box trucks and courier vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Pick up orders from restaurant partners and load them securely into the vehicle using heavy lifting techniques when necessary
• Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Load and unload deliveries using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when required, especially for bulk or large orders
• Deliver food orders directly to customers’ doors, providing friendly and professional service throughout each interaction
• Manage multiple deliveries per shift, accurately tracking orders and updating delivery statuses in real-time
• Maintain cleanliness and routine inspection of delivery vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
• Prior delivery driver experience or courier background is highly desirable
• Familiarity with route driving, navigation tools, and traffic patterns in urban or suburban areas
• Ability to lift heavy boxes or packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout shifts
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus
• Warehouse experience or familiarity with moving equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude
• Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work independently in a fast-paced environment
