Food designer and pastry chef

We are looking for a food designer / pastry chef to join our small team and create exceptional artisanal and pastry goods.

Aspiring to a more thoughtful and slower way of life, Alica is a new bakery/eatery in Jumeira 1 built on the craft of using our hands.

At ALICA we specialize in naturally-leavened bread and laminated pastries and offer a weekly changing seasonal lunch and snack menu.

Our ethos is simple: Work with local farms and craftsmen who share the belief that good quality ingredients should be for everyone. We will do our utmost to source local, seasonal and organic produce from the UAE.

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Alica, the Food Designer and Pastry Chef collaborates with brands to create visually striking and concept-driven desserts and food experiences. This role blends culinary innovation with design thinking — developing recipes, crafting unique presentations, and styling food for campaigns, shoots, and brand activations. The ideal candidate brings a refined aesthetic, strong technical pastry skills, and a passion for transforming ideas into edible art.

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
