Position Overview

The Food Products Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, sourcing, and quality management of food products across Bordara LLC’s portfolio. This role ensures that all food items meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations while supporting smooth operations between suppliers, production teams, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the sourcing and procurement of food products from approved local and international suppliers
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, packaging, and compliance with food safety standards and Qatar regulations
  • Assist in developing and launching new food products in collaboration with culinary, procurement, and marketing teams
  • Maintain updated product specifications, pricing, and supplier records
  • Track inventory levels and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery and availability
  • Conduct market research to identify food trends, new ingredients, and competitive products
  • Support supplier negotiations and ensure adherence to contract terms and quality agreements
  • Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety protocols
  • Handle documentation related to imports, certifications, and product approvals
  • Resolve product-related issues including quality complaints, delays, or discrepancies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in food products, FMCG, or procurement roles
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000 preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and product lines simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in GCC food import/export operations
  • Knowledge of Middle Eastern food market trends
  • Bilingual ability (English required; Arabic is an advantage)

Reporting Line

Reports to: Procurement Manager / Food Operations Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR630,000.00 per year
