Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly as they enter the cafe, assist them in finding seats, and provide menus.
- Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders from customers and enter them into the cafe's order system.
- Serving: Deliver food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring orders are correct.
- Table Maintenance: Keep tables clean and well-maintained, including clearing empty dishes, refilling drinks, and resetting tables for new customers.
- Menu Knowledge: Have thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, dietary options, and daily specials, to assist customers with their choices.
- Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries and complaints with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Coordination: Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
- Sales Promotion: Suggest additional items or upsell menu items to enhance the customer's dining experience.
- Billing: Handle payments, provide receipts, and manage any billing inquiries or issues.
- Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food and beverages, to ensure a safe dining environment.
