Job Title: Bartender / Mixologist

Location: Dubai
Department: Food & Beverage / Bar Operations
Reports To: Bar Manager / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

The Bartender/Mixologist is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, non-alcoholic, while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. This role requires creativity, product knowledge, and excellent customer service to enhance the bar’s reputation and maintain a lively, welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, mocktails, and specialty creations.
  • Provide professional, courteous, and engaging service to all guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including tools, glassware, and equipment.
  • Ensure proper stocking levels of beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies.
  • Create and recommend new cocktail recipes and seasonal drink menus.
  • Adhere to company standards regarding drink preparation, portion control, and presentation.
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Check guest identification to verify legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Work closely with bar and service staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
  • Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, products, and mixology techniques.
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Bartender or Mixologist in a high-volume or fine-dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive attitude and strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of POS systems and basic cash handling procedures.
  • Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (preferred).

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality certification or Bartending course preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
