Position Overview

COTHM Sarai Alamgir Campus is seeking a qualified and passionate Food Safety Instructor / Trainer to deliver academic and practical training in food safety, hygiene, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and the ability to effectively train students in both theoretical and applied aspects of food safety management.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and practical training sessions in food safety, hygiene, and quality assurance
• Develop lesson plans, course materials, and assessment tools aligned with curriculum standards
• Train students on HACCP principles, food safety regulations, and quality control systems
• Supervise practical demonstrations and lab-based activities
• Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments
• Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with institutional standards
• Stay updated with current food safety laws, industry practices, and certification requirements
• Participate in academic meetings, curriculum development, and institutional activities

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in Food Safety / BS in Food Science / BS in Food Technology OR
• MS in Food Safety & Quality Assurance / MS in Food Science / MS in Food TechnologyPreferred Requirements
• Prior teaching or training experience (academic or industry-based)
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, ISO 22000, and food safety management systems
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to train and mentor students in practical food safety applications
