What you'll do:


The FSQ Inspector is responsible for ensuring that food products handling (specific Fragile Grocery Categories F&V , Dairy, Meat, Bakery etc.), processes, services, or facilities comply with established food safety, quality, hygiene, regulatory, and customer requirements. This includes performing inspections, audits, testing, reporting, and corrective actions to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across the supply chain (Vendors till Store Last Mile). Customer complaints & Losses control are the key focus areas.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct regular inspections of raw materials, in-process production, finished goods, storage, and distribution to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
  • Audit suppliers, vendors, subcontractors to verify they meet food safety & quality criteria.
  • Monitor and verify proper labeling, packaging, and traceability of food products.
  • Maintain records, reports, checklists, deviation logs; document nonconformities and follow up with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits; ensure findings are addressed.
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and processes.
  • Provide training to staff on food safety, quality, hygiene, and related practices.



What you'll need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in B.Sc. Agri, Food Science, Microbiology, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications/training in food safety &quality standards (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP, GHP).
  • 1-5 years of experience required in food safety/quality assurance/inspection roles in a food-related industry. Preferred a quick commerce experience.
