Location: Louisville, CO (100% Onsite)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Start Date: Mid-November 2025

Pay Rate: $43-$46/hour on W2

🧪 About the Role:

This position sits within a highly collaborative Research & Innovation (R&I) team focused on product formulation, process improvement, and technical execution. The Food Scientist II will lead a yogurt-related validation project and support manufacturing documentation, pilot trials, and analytical reporting.

This is a hands-on, project-based role ideal for someone passionate about product development, food science, and cross-functional collaboration.

✅ Responsibilities:

• Manage a yogurt fruit prep validation project across a large number of SKUs, evaluating both qualitative and quantitative attributes over shelf life
• Accurately update batch sheets and manufacturing instructions
• Learn and navigate internal systems and documentation processes
• Support pilot plant trials focused on yogurt culture development
• Organize and lead tasting sessions with cross-functional teams including R&I and Marketing
• Create analytical reports and summarize findings with recommendations
• Participate in product test design , coordinate sample production, and ensure quality follow-up

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Food Science or a closely related field (preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in product development or a related technical role
• Strong technical understanding of product formulation, industrial processes , and manufacturing practices
• Previous experience working with dairy and/or fermented products is highly preferred
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Comfortable working cross-functionally and independently
• Proficiency with general computer tools and product development systems
• Creative thinker who thrives in fast-paced, iterative environments with tight timelines
