Food Scientist - NPD

Job Summary:

Valcore Foods is an innovative food ingredients manufacturer based in Mohali, Punjab. Our product portfolio includes fruit/veg pastes and sauces for global culinary and QSR companies. We seek a savvy food scientist/technologist with core competency in New Product Development to help us expand our product portfolio, particularly in sauces. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in customer acquisition and technical sales.

Candidates with experience in the culinary/condiments industry will be given preference. A positive attitude and good communication skills are a must!

Responsibilities:

1) New Product Development - condiments

2) Spearhead research-driven projects to address specific processing and product development challenges

3) Manufacturing process optimization at the factory level

4) Additional projects like fermentation and phytochemical extraction

Additional skills:

1) Advanced knowledge of quantitative analysis through spectrophotometry

2) Qualitative analysis with GC, HPLC, etc

3) Knowledge of the latest food processing concepts and technologies

Education:

Advanced degree in either of the following:

1) Food Science and Technology

2) Microbiology

3) Biochemistry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
