Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted and fulfilled
• Present menus, recommend dishes, and upsell items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to ensure a clean and inviting environment
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly
• Experience with upselling techniques to boost sales and enhance guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and order accuracy
• Prior host/hostess or serving experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: $10.70 - $25.00 per hour
