Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of dishes and specials.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery.
• Upsell menu items and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
• Serve food and drinks professionally, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation.
• Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
• Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests while maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Assist with food preparation or kitchen support when needed, adhering to food safety regulations like proper sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and cashiering.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent guest relations abilities.
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and basic math for cash handling and billing accuracy.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently.
• Previous host/hostess or serving experience is highly desirable; culinary or kitchen experience is a plus.
