Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to the kitchen
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
• Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting stations to ensure a clean and inviting environment
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS platforms
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining excellent guest relations at all times

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and cashiering procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items effectively to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Experience with reservation management platforms like OpenTable and familiarity with serving in high-energy environments
