Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Edison, NJ, for a Food Service Director. The Food Service Director will oversee all aspects of food service operations, including supervising food preparation, ensuring quality and compliance, managing budgets, and promoting customer satisfaction. The role involves developing and managing menus, managing food service staff, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring the overall efficiency of food and beverage operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Service, Food Preparation, and Food & Beverage management
• Skills in P&L Management and Budgeting
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to manage, train, and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
• Prior experience in healthcare or senior living food services is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain is desirable
