Food Service Supervisor

Job Responsibilities for Food Service Management Internship

• Front line supervision of anywhere from 8-15 team members on a daily basis
• Responsible for primary training of all team members – cashiers and cooks
• Manage break schedules for all team members
• Alter staffing based on predicted park attendance
• Document team member attendance and counsel team members when needed
• Resolve team member issues and provide assistance to all problems
• Demonstrate exceptional guest relations skills
• Monitor team members’ performance
• Responsible for maintaining area cleanliness standards – inside and outside of building
• Responsible for product inventory management
• Ensure product is delivered on-time and consistently to every guest
• Maintain standards for quality and consistency for all Beech Bend Park dining option

Required Qualifications

• Background in management, food service, or a culinary field
• Experience in a leadership role at a previous job or in a class
• Must be willing to work with and take orders from food service manager
• Functioning knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must be at least 18 years of age and hold work authorization in the United States

Facility Qualifications

• Applicant will be expected to work long shifts – sometimes 9-10 hours a day based on park operating schedule
• Applicant must be able to push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
• Responsibilities will also include keeping work area clean and free of debris

Additional Information

Those that apply for the food service supervisor will only be granted the supervisor role after successful completion of general team member training and a manager interview. Proficiency in all topics related to food service management is required; it is expected that the supervisor will be more knowledgeable than all of the team members underneath of them.

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $13.00 - $14.50 per hour
