Food Service Worker/Cashier

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Café in the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum is currently seeking part-time Café associate to join our team. Individuals will play a critical role in assuring exceptional guest experience at the Café. Ideal candidates will be friendly, outgoing while working in a fast-paced environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• · Reconciliation of the daily cash drawer and credit card reports
• · Set up at the front end of the café (including the dining area)
• · Assistance with back end of café prior to opening
• · Cleaning of all front/back end of café areas and supplies/utensils used
• · Crosstrain to cover back end of café when necessary

• · One or more years of previous food experience desired
• · Must be 18 years of age or older.
• · Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

WORKING CONDITIONS

• The work schedule is flexible and may include some weekends.
• This position requires standing for long periods of time
• Physical work will require bending, stooping, reaching, lifting and carrying items of up to 50lbs regularly

JOB CLASSIFICATION/OTHER: Part-time, hourly.

Job Types: Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

• Fast casual restaurant

Schedule:

• Day shift 3 days a week
• Work Schedule: Sundays: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm Tuesdays & Thursdays each 8:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Ashland, NE 68003: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• ServSafe Food Handler Certificate (Preferred)
