Food Truck Crew Member

We are a mobile food truck business, serving the World’s BEST Turkey BBQ. Sweet’s Turkey BBQ & Catering specializes in smoked meats and delicious homemade sides. While we are based out of Greensboro, NC, we serve the triad and surrounding areas. In addition we travel out of state upon request. We take pride in taking good care of our employees and customers as they are the cornerstone for the success of our business.

About the Role

The Food Truck Crew Member is an essential part of the food truck’s daily operations. In this position, the employee is expected to serve in various roles to help orders get out in a timely manner from the time the customer’s order is placed to when they receive the order. Team Member will need to multi-task with DoorDash orders as well as in person orders.

Responsibilities

 Greet customers at the order pick up window

 Bag customer’s orders

 Stock condiments, utensils, bags, food containers

 Answer questions that customers may have regarding menu items/pricing

 Put up and take down flags and signage

 Package sides, drop fries, and assist on the food line where needed

 Assist in opening and closing process

 Other duties as assigned

Location & Commitments

 Ability to work flexible days and hours

 Contract/permanent employment available

 Part-time hours available (12-20 per week)

 Schedule varies (2-4 work days per week)

 Primarily servicing the Greensboro and Triad area

 Travel may be required for out of town events (travel reimbursement offered)

Evening/weekend availability required and some mid-day hours

Candidate Requirements  Experience in a food truck, fast-food or restaurant industry is preferred

 Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

 Must have reliable transportation

Physical Demands

The employee may be required to stand, walk, twist, turn, bend, climb, lift, or kneel. Occasional lifting to 50Ibs may occur.
