Tchibo Turkey has been operating successfully in the Turkish market for more than 20 years, with over 500 employees and 58 stores across 12 cities. As a unique business model combining retail, coffee shop operations, and FMCG product sales across retail chains and its own e-commerce platform, Tchibo has strengthened its focus in recent years on bringing its 75+ years of global coffee heritage into the Turkish market.

We are now seeking a Food &Beverage Category Manager to lead our rapidly expanding Coffee Bar business and drive the strategic growth of our coffee category.

Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end strategy for the Coffee Bar category, ensuring best-in-class category management and driving product and menu development
  • Build and manage pricing strategies and oversee campaign planning to support sustainable and profitable growth
  • Monitor sales performance, manage category costs, and identify improvement opportunities
  • Supervise the adaptation and production of communication materials, ensuring brand consistency across social media, catalogs, and all customer touchpoints in collaboration with the communication team
  • Oversee in-store visual standards and work closely with Shops and planning teams to ensure strong product delivery and operational excellence across the network
  • Manage budgets, track performance KPIs, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support continuous category growth
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of three direct reports across Coffee Bar marketing and product functions
  • Manage the Tchibo Academy together with the Master Barista and strengthen barista skills through structured training programs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in coffee bar management
  • Excellent command of English and strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, solve problems analytically, and deliver results in fast-paced environments
  • High level of self-motivation, adaptability, and ownership
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with experience in budget management and performance tracking
