Job Summary

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Footwear Designer to design and develop stylish, commercially viable footwear collections aligned with brand identity, market trends, and customer needs. The role involves concept creation through final production, working closely with merchandising, development, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Research fashion trends, materials, and competitor products.
• Create seasonal footwear concepts, mood boards, and design stories.
• Develop technical sketches, CAD designs, and detailed tech packs.
• Select materials, colors, components, and trims for each design.
• Work closely with pattern makers, developers, and factories to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Review and approve samples (proto, fit, wear test, and final samples).
• Ensure designs meet cost, quality, and production timelines.
• Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams for collection presentation.
• Conduct market and store visits to analyze customer feedback and sales performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Footwear Design, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in footwear design (women’s, men’s, or kids).
• Strong knowledge of footwear construction and materials.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
• Ability to create detailed tech packs and production-ready designs.
• Good understanding of costing and supplier communication.
• Strong creativity with commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred (Advantage)

• Experience in fashion retail or luxury footwear brands.
• Knowledge of Asian / European factory production processes.
• Experience designing handbags or accessories is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
