Global Supplier Development (Supplier Technical Assistance ) Team Member - Ford Trucks (Contracted)

What awaits you in this role?
•Represent STA (Supplier Technical Assistance) organization in new “Vehicle” and “Engine Unit” HCV programs.
•Support cross-functional Program and Launch Meetings.
•Tracking PPAP and Schedule-A (External Supplier APQP/PPAP Readiness Assessment) status and submission requirements, within Site STA Organization and Supply Base.
•Manage and review Phased-PPAP status and timing plans to deliver on time Phased-PPAP approvals.
•Arrange cross functional meetings to drive PPAP issues resolution and manage action plans to assure on time PSW approvals.
•Proactively monitor, manage and escalate significant issues inhibiting Supplier PPAP/launch risks.
•Provide onsite STA Launch support for Build events (e.g. DCV (Design Completion Verification) builds, PCF / TCB (Part Coordinate Fixture/Trim Coordination Build), TT, PP, etc.).
•Drive resolution of supplier quality issues raised through AIMS (Automated Issues Management System). Lead containment, 8D follow up, ICA / PCA activity.
What are we looking for in this position?
•At least 2 years of experience in supplier quality management and/or manufacturing / quality areas
•Being proficient in English when working with global teams & worldwide supplier partners.
Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies
•Bachelor's degree from reputable universities, master's degree in relevant discipline (MBA, Management Engineering) is an additional asset.
•Knowledge of various manufacturing processes of the key component commodities.
•Knowledge of problem solving as well as quality systems and tools.
•Behavioral Skills and Competencies
•Strong communication and presentation skills
•Excellent in teamwork, planning and organization skills
•Leadership skills to be able to better manage the widespread supply-base
•Fluent communication, result oriented, proactive approach, problem solving
•Strong ability to quickly take in a large amount of information, connect the details to the bigger picture, analyze and draw conclusions.
