Forecast Analyst

About the role

This role will primarily involve using historical sales data and growth inputs to analyze and map sales trends to determine their influences on business.

The incumbent will be required to develop and maintain demand forecast accuracy of stock, highlight variations between forecast and actual sales for timely action to manage stock shortages/gaps, and manage gratis of the sales region. S/he will be required to closely partner with Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to coordinate the stock’s timely issuance and availability at required locations.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

• A strong school education and university degree (equivalent to Master’s) from a reputed university; background in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis (or related field) will be preferred.
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on demand forecasting experience, including inventory planning, allocation, and replenishment process within MNC environment.
• Capable of independently preparing reports that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.Strong English language and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (particularly MS Excel), Power BI and SAP.
