What’s on offer?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Foreperson to join our Victoria Road Upgrade Project team. The Victoria Road Upgrade project is a design & construct aimed at upgrading the Victoria Road to support the new development at Melrose Park North.

You lead the supervision and delivery of the project, in efficient and timely execution of construction activities. You will ensure safety first, quality, environmental and stakeholder objectives are achieved, as well as monitoring of program and forecasted budgets to ensure the delivery of works within critical program date.

How you’ll connect to the role:

To be successful in this role, you will have leadership experience to support and motivate site teams, ensuring the focus remains on safety, quality, cost and schedule in the planning and execution of our work. You will also have:

• Proven civil construction experience delivering projects safely, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and daily issue resolution.
• Competent plant operator (excavators, positracks, rollers; grader experience advantageous).
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and positively influence a team.
• Involvement in developing/implementing SWMS and leading daily pre-start meetings.
• Experience in scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and managing materials, plant, personnel, and subcontractors.
• Ability to monitor programs, identify delays, and achieve daily productivity and cost targets.
• Provides constructive feedback to Project Managers on performance, safety, quality, and timeliness.
• Computer literate, able to complete reports accurately and on time.
