Supervise and manage assigned crew members to ensure effective teamwork and productivity

Plan, organize, and schedule daily work routines for the crew

Ensure all work is completed within established time frames and meets quality standards

Enforce company safety policies and procedures, including conducting safety orientations for new employees

Maintain equipment and vehicles in good operating condition, including pre- and post-inspections

Prepare trucks daily with necessary supplies and equipment

Communicate with clients on-site and provide project updates as needed

Accurately complete and process required paperwork, such as timecards and work authorizations

Mentor and support the advancement of crew members through training and coaching

Perform landscape installation tasks, including sod installation, deploying safety cones, and calibrating application equipment

Identify and address horticultural issues, such as plant health, weeds, pests, and irrigation system problems

Implement maintenance techniques and recognize potential hazards or deficiencies in the landscape

Conduct quality inspections and ensure job site cleanliness before departure

Report job site safety concerns and potential problems to the Supervisor

Promote a positive, motivated, and safety-conscious work environment

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Experience supervising and managing crews in landscape maintenance or a related field

Strong knowledge of horticultural practices, including plant identification, pruning, and pest management

Ability to program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers and systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to complete paperwork accurately and on time

Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching and training

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Valid drivers license required

CPR and First Aid certification, FCHP & BMP certifications preferred

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, bending, pushing, and stretching
