Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Foreman, Landscape Hardscape, to lead and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of hardscape elements within landscape projects. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on-site. As a key leader, you will coordinate teams, manage project timelines, and uphold standards that transform outdoor spaces into stunning, durable environments. Your expertise in landscape construction and leadership will drive project success from start to finish.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of landscape hardscape crews, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
- Lead the installation of hardscape features such as patios, retaining walls, walkways, fire pits, and other masonry elements with precision and craftsmanship
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to interpret design plans and specifications for hardscape projects
- Ensure all work adheres to safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards throughout each phase of construction
- Manage material inventory, equipment usage, and site logistics to optimize workflow and minimize waste
- Provide mentorship and training to team members on techniques related to landscaping, masonry, irrigation integration, and maintenance practices
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, troubleshoot issues promptly, and maintain high standards of workmanship
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in landscape construction or hardscape installation with a strong background in landscaping or gardening practices
- Extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care, horticulture, tree care, irrigation systems, and general gardening skills
- Hands-on experience with construction projects involving masonry, stonework, concrete work or similar hardscape elements
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with landscape maintenance equipment and tools used in hardscape installation
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction sites and outdoor work environments
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, team members, suppliers, and project stakeholders
