Foreman, Landscape Hardscape

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Hardscaper to join our dynamic construction team in the Pipersville, Pa (18947) just outside of Doylestown area. As a Hardscaper, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining durable outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and other landscape elements that enhance the beauty and functionality of outdoor spaces. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your expertise in various construction techniques and tools to create stunning, long-lasting landscapes. Responsibilities

• Install and construct hardscape features including concrete forms, masonry structures, pavers, retaining walls, and decorative stonework with precision and craftsmanship.
• Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to excavate, level, and prepare sites for installation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution.
• Perform site inspections to verify work quality, adherence to safety standards, and project specifications throughout each phase of construction.
• Collaborate with team members on fabrication tasks such as concrete finishing, masonry work, stucco application, and glass or cabinet installation.
• Manage materials efficiently by estimating quantities needed using construction estimating techniques and ensuring proper handling of tools like hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct restoration work when necessary to repair or improve existing hardscape features while maintaining structural integrity.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations by following proper procedures for roofing, caulking, framing, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and other related tasks.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on hardscape projects in outdoor environments.
• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment such as excavators or loaders safely and effectively.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles.
• Familiarity with a wide range of construction skills including masonry, concrete forming and finishing, carpentry (including trim carpentry), plastering, welding, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, painting, restoration techniques, and masonry work.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing and electrical systems relevant to outdoor installations is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently while maintaining safety standards at all times.
