- Achieving business excellence in mining production involves a holistic approach that integrates various best practices and strategies to optimize performance, ensure safety, and enhance sustainability. Here’s a comprehensive guide to achieving business excellence in mining production:
- Assisting in preparation of the annual and 5 yearly mining plan
- Implementing SOPs in all aspects of operation under jurisdiction
- Cost
- Achieving cost saving without compromising delivery by driving continuous process improvement across area of operation
- Cash
- Improving profitability by optimizing working capital through i nventory management and spare consumption patterns without compromising on safety and environment aspects
- Reconciling Quantity & quality between mine model data and current pit operation data so as to eliminate abandonment of operations impacting profitability
- Customer
- Reducing the gap between receiving Quantity & quality and feeding quality by providing guidance in mixing the various batches of bauxite ores in order to get target quality as per feedback of the operations and technical teams of refineries
- Synchronizing with logistics for dispatch plan to ensure timely dispatch to refineries
- Sharing data and collaborating within and across functions
- Minimizing response time in providing information and solutions to all internal and external customers

- Conducting safety related training sessions for crew

- Monitoring intake and deployment of physically fit and appropriately trained contractual workforce and ensuring their continuous training and wellbeing as per company guidelines.
