In this vital role, you will operate various types of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and organize goods, ensuring timely order fulfillment and safe warehouse practices. Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, including clamp trucks, pallet jacks, crane lifts, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments.
• Manage order picking processes using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accurate fulfillment.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation.
• Conduct materials handling tasks such as heavy lifting, stacking, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
• Support warehouse distribution operations by utilizing construction-grade equipment when necessary for large or bulky items.
• Maintain safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations through proper equipment use and mechanical knowledge.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize storage layouts, improve workflow efficiency, and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Experience

• Proven experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, cranes, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse or construction environment.
• Strong background in warehouse distribution, order picking, shipping & receiving processes.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for inventory control.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling.
• Prior experience in warehouse supervision or team leadership is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues is desirable.

Pay: $23.97 - $28.87 per hour
