Forklift Driver

Job Purpose

To operate forklift safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, shifting, stacking, and transporting materials within the factory/warehouse to support smooth production and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload, move, stack, and store raw materials, finished goods, and pallets safely.
• Support receiving and dispatch activities as per instructions from Supervisor / Stores / Logistics.
• Ensure correct handling of goods to avoid damage and maintain proper stacking standards.
• Conduct daily forklift checks (battery/fuel, brakes, forks, lights, horn, tyres) and report any defects immediately.
• Follow all OCC safety rules, traffic routes, speed limits, and PPE requirements.
• Assist in basic warehouse activities when required (palletizing, housekeeping, arranging stock).
• Maintain cleanliness of forklift and working area (5S/housekeeping).
• Follow loading bay safety practices and coordinate with drivers and warehouse staff during loading/unloading.
• Report incidents, near-misses, damages, or unsafe conditions to Supervisor/QHSE immediately.

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum Education: Basic school level (preferred).
• Experience: 3–4 years as a Forklift Driver.
• Skills/Certificates: Forklift driving license preferred but not compulsory (company may evaluate skill level).
• Language: Must be able to read & understand English; must be able to speak Hindi/Urdu and English.

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of safe lifting, stacking, and warehouse practices.
• Ability to work in shifts and follow instructions accurately.
• Basic understanding of load limits and safe material handling.

Working Conditions

• Factory/warehouse environment.
• Duty time and shift schedule as per OCC operations requirements.
• Overtime may be required as per workload and company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED1,700.00 per month
