Job Title: Forklift Operator
Location: United Arab Emirates (UAE)
Reports to: Factory Supervisor
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Forklift Operator to join our growing team in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse, ensuring the smooth flow of operations. The role also includes inventory management, adherence to safety standards, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to transport, load, unload, and store materials in the warehouse and designated areas safely and efficiently.
- Ensure goods are stored correctly to avoid damage and ensure ease of access.
- Conduct regular forklift inspections and report any faults or maintenance needs to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Assist in inventory management by keeping accurate records of stock and materials.
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in stock taking and managing materials during inbound and outbound processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse area.
- Work closely with other warehouse team members to meet deadlines and keep operations on track.
- Follow instructions from the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor and perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Valid forklift operating license/certification (recognized in the UAE).
- Ability to safely operate different types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck, etc.).
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy materials when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Basic computer skills for inventory management (optional but advantageous).
- Flexible and willing to work overtime, weekends, or public holidays when required.
