Warehouse Forklift Operator
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Forklift Operator is responsible for operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within a warehouse or distribution center. This role ensures efficient handling of goods while maintaining safety and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack) safely and efficiently.

Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.

Move products to designated storage locations.

Stack and organize pallets and inventory properly.

Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance issues.

Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

Assist with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and labeling.

Keep work areas clean and organized.

All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain).

Previous warehouse or forklift experience (typically 1-2 years preferred).

Basic math and inventory tracking skills.

Ability to read and follow instructions.
