FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Responsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and store materials in the warehouse. Supports daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch while following company safety procedures.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Valid forklift operator license/certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as Forklift operator
  • Basic understanding of inventory and material handling processes

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, ACCOUNTABILITIES AND AUTHORITIES

ROLE
  • Perform material handling activities safely in line with company HSE policies
  • Support movement, loading, unloading, and storage of materials in the warehouse
  • Ensure safe handling of general and hazardous materials as per guidelines
  • Assist in maintaining smooth warehouse operations
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Operate forklift safely and use PPE at all times
  • Load, unload, and move materials to assigned locations
  • Support receiving by unloading and staging incoming shipments
  • Assist in picking and loading materials for dispatch
  • Check for visible damages and report issues
  • Ensure proper stacking, storage, and safety of materials
  • Support inventory counts and stock checks
  • Keep forklift and work area clean and safe
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Report any safety risks, damages, or discrepancies
  • Support team during high workload or staff absence
  • Perform other assigned warehouse duties

OTHERS:

  • Responsible for performing duties in accordance with the company’s policies, procedures, and quality objectives
  • Have necessary authority to make decisions within their scope of work and escalate issues as needed and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Accountable for the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of their work, as well as for reporting any nonconformities or risks that may impact quality, legal compliances, safety, environment, or customer satisfaction.
  • Support and participate in achieving organizational QHSE objectives.
  • Other duties may be assigned
