Forklift Operator

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products and materials.
• Load and unload trucks, containers, and delivery vehicles.
• Transport goods between storage areas, receiving docks, and dispatch locations.
• Stack and arrange materials in designated storage locations.

Inventory Management

• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods.
• Pick and move products according to warehouse requirements.
• Support stock counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure accurate handling and storage of products to prevent damage.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklifts and equipment.
• Report equipment defects, damages, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Warehouse Support

• Assist with loading and unloading activities during peak operations.
• Support warehouse staff in organizing stock and maintaining storage areas.
• Ensure proper labeling and identification of products.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Certificate or equivalent.
• Valid Forklift Operator License/Certification.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and material-handling procedures.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse, logistics, retail, or distribution environment.
• Experience handling palletized goods and warehouse inventory is preferred.
