Forklift Operator/Ramp Support/Ground Crew

Overview
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our Grounds Crew team. This role is essential in Loading/Offloading freight, Marshaling in Aircrafts, Fuel Aircrafts, operate Ground Power Equipment, Lavatory Services. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pathways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to ensure safety and accessibility.
• Operate various equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks for moving materials as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds equipment and report any mechanical issues.

Requirements

• Minimum of 30 years of age
• A valid state driver's license
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Verbal and written communications skills for safety-sensitive tasks in ENGLISH
• Must have Forklift experience - REQUIRED
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, fuel trucks and ground power equipment safely.
• Ability to pass background checks (criminal and motor vehicle), drug tests, receive and maintain issuance of an airport security badge, and be insurable by the company's applicable insurance policies
• Ability to timely and successfully complete Barker's Ground Service training programs
• Ability to use a computer and email, including pass computer-base training modules
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic (addition, subtraction, time)
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including night, Holiday, and weekend shifts, in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
