Formulation Chemist

American International Industries (A.I.I.) is seeking an experienced Formulation Chemist. This hands-on role is ideal for a chemist who is passionate about formulation and excited to contribute to high-quality cosmetic products from concept to launch.

Working closely with our R&D team, you’ll help develop, test, and document personal care formulations while ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the formulation and development of skincare, haircare, and personal care products
• Conduct stability, compatibility, and performance testing on new and existing formulations
• Maintain accurate formulation records, batch sheets, and raw material documentation
• Support raw material research, sourcing, and evaluation to drive innovation
• Document lab work, test results, and experimental data with precision
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Regulatory, and Operations teams to support product launches
• Perform additional lab and R&D-related duties as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in cosmetic formulation, R&D, or laboratory work
• Foundational knowledge of raw materials, emulsions, surfactants, and cosmetic actives
