Formulation Scientist, Research & Development

Looking for a R&D & Product Development Manager to support the development of beauty and personal care products. The role involves basic formulation support, research, communication with manufacturers, and coordinating with clients to ensure smooth and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. R&D and Formulation Support

• Assist in developing skincare, haircare, and body care products based on given requirements.
• Research ingredients, trends, and product concepts and prepare short summaries.
• Maintain formulation documents, ingredient lists (INCI), and basic notes.

2. Communication with Manufacturers

• Coordinate with manufacturers for samples, pricing, and timelines.
• Follow up regularly to ensure projects move on schedule.
• Keep records of all communication and updates.

3. Client Coordination

• Support communication with clients through professional emails and updates.
• Join calls when required and note important action points.
• Track sample approvals, feedback, and next steps.

4. Documentation

• Prepare ingredient lists, simple technical write-ups, and usage instructions.
• Organize files, project trackers, and documents clearly and neatly.

5. Market Research

• Stay updated on beauty trends in India and globally.
• Share ideas for new product concepts when needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, or related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in cosmetic R&D or product development.
• Basic understanding of cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
• Good English communication skills (email and calls).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Comfortable coordinating with manufacturers and clients.

Pay: ₹411,492.97 - ₹1,205,305.83 per year
