With a strong technical team and a commitment to innovation, accuracy and timely delivery, we are expanding our design division and looking for a skilled Formwork Design Engineer to join us.

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, technically strong Formwork Design Engineer who can support our design operations for residential, commercial and high-rise projects. The ideal candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), have a strong understanding of Indian design standards, and be comfortable working with complex drawings and technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review and optimize aluminium (monolithic) formwork designs for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Create accurate 2D & 3D drawings using AutoCAD and other design tools.
• Collaborate closely with the internal design team to ensure technical accuracy, feasibility and constructability.
• Interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings to prepare coordinated formwork layouts.
• Ensure all designs meet Indian design codes, project requirements and safety guidelines.
• Assist in resolving technical challenges and design-related queries during project execution.
• Maintain quality standards and adhere to project timelines.
• Prepare supporting documents, BOQs, Excel-based calculations and material summaries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal design templates and design processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D.
• Good understanding of Indian design codes (IS codes related to formwork, concrete and structural engineering).
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel for calculations, quantification and documentation.
• Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Good understanding of RCC structural drawings and site practices.
• Ability to interpret architectural & structural plans with high accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented approach.

Preferred / Added Advantages

• Experience with 3D design & modelling software like SolidWorks, Revit, Tekla, BricsCAD BIM etc.
• Prior experience in aluminium or monolithic formwork design.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing and site coordination.
• Understanding of panel optimization and formwork reuse strategies.
